New archaeological finds from the Bronze Age in Bratislava

Archaeologists have uncovered more remains of a Bronze Age settlement near the village of Budmerice, (in the Bratislava region) including a well-preserved human skeleton.
The site, which covers an area roughly the size of a modern metropolis, had been identified since the fifties and is subject to regular archaeological campaigns.
"The village dates back to a period between the 18th and 15th century before Christ, and then skeletons, houses, fortifications, pottery and bronze jewelry can be dated back to at least 3500 years ago," Pavel Jelinek inform the Institute Historical Archaeology Slovak (Sahi).
All archaeological excavations are conducted in cooperation with the museum in Pezinok which will be studied, classified and display the artifacts found.
